The conference is addressed to people from community groups, voluntary organisations, the public sector and partnerships. It offers to everyone who works with communities to let its voice be heard.
Speaker include:
Shami Chakrabarti, Director, Liberty (to be confirmed)
Vivienne Hayes, Director Women’s Resource Centre and bassac member
Phil Hope MP, Minister for the Third Sector
Matthew Taylor, Director, Royal Society for the Arts and former Chief Adviser on Strategic Policy to the Prime Minister
Peter Tatchell, Human Rights campaigner
David Cameron MP, Leader of the Conservative Party who will round off the event (to be confirmed)
Bassac is a membership organisation which support a national network of organisations who provide service to communities.
